BeyWheelz is set in the futuristic city of Destection where our hero, Sho, is champion of the BeyWheelz World Tournament! This peaceful city is home to exciting and challenging battles between friends and allies until suddenly the city is attacked by an evil BeyWheelz army called the Dominators who want control over all of the BeyWheelz in the world. With the future and freedom of BeyWheelz at stake, Sho and his friends take on the Dominators' strongest fighters in an epic battle of good vs. evil.

In the final round of the Beywheelz World Championships, Sho Tenma and his Soaring Wing Pegasus battle Jin Ryu and his Doom Fire Drago in a best out of three competition. As the head of the Executive Committee, Chairman Ryan, and his team watch, the battle begins. Jin wins the opening round which is a Crash battle, which means that Sho must win the next test or he loses the championship. The second installment is a Race battle and Sho manages to come out on top and tie the match. The final round is a Stunt Battle, which can only be won by a Sleep Out, and Sho rallies at the last second to come back to win the battle and the Championship.
