Benson goes undercover as an inmate at the State Prison to investigate the conditions the prisoners live in. Only the Governor and the Warden know his true identity. When he gets framed for stabbing the Axman, he asks the Warden to protect him. Only the Warden doesn't want Benson protected because he is embezzling money from the Prison budget.

Pete borrows Benson's car and foils a robbery when he crashes it into the robbers get away car. Benson's car's been totaled. Now the insurance company won't pay for a new car because Pete was driving it and the insurance company decides to cancel Benson's insurance because of his negative profile.
