Episode 1
The Few
Examining the technological advances that the RAF pioneered in the build-up to the Battle of Britain. At its heart were two world-class fighters, the Hurricane and the Spitfire, that were able to compete against the best the Luftwaffe had to offer.
Episode 2
Darkest Hour
From July to early September 1940, both sides were finding their feet. The Germans tried to bomb British naval shipping with limited success, but then began a more successful campaign against RAF airfields.

The Blitz
During the first week of September 1940, Hitler decided to move the bombing strategy away from the airfields to civilian London.
