Season 2 of the reality show that puts people through military-grade training is once again hosted by WWE Champion John Cena and features US Army Sergeant John Burk, US Marine Riki Long, US Marine Technician Chloe Mondesir and US Army Green Beret Grady Powell as mentors and trainers. At Camp Grit in Hampton Island, Georgia, 17 not particularly fit people challenge themselves in the hope of gaining "grit" and overcoming all the obstacles they face, so they can reach the final stage and win $250,000. Each episode features a new challenge, such as a canoe race, a muddy race, or a puzzle; even as the contestants do their best, one of them gets eliminated at the end of every challenge and, in pure Navy fashion, has to ring a bell as they get out.
