This series is based on the story "The Threshold of Pain" by the Iraqi writer "Hasan Sami Yousef". "Al-Naddam" or "The Regret" is a purely Syrian series that combines details of Syrian social life between the pre-war period, ie 2003, and during the war, specifically 2016. It is a love story that brings together a young man named Erwa and a young woman named Hana. This young couple is living a romantic story in the Syrian capital, Damascus. Later, Hanaa will suffer from a heart disease that will cause her to turn off slowly until she dies on a suffocating black night.
