Reconciled with Laurence and heavily pregnant, Jane decides to quit her jobs at the magazine and radio show to spend more time at home.

Being unemployed is making Michael seriously depressed and when Jane goes to visit him she discovers she may be too late to help him out.

Hospital Romances

Laid up in hospital after giving birth, Jane can't seem to get any peace from all the visitors. Then she locks horns with the sister on the ward who she believes is a racist.

Communications Breakdown

Jane attends a group therapy session to learn how to release her anger while Laurence struggles with fatherhood and a frustrated Andy who's having commitment issues with Val.

Holy Wars

Jane and Laurence feud over whether Michael should be raised Jewish or Christian.

Episode 6

Lucas v Lucas

The police investigate Michael's abduction while Jane decides to go to work to try and keep busy. Then she gets a phone call at the radio station from a man who says he has her baby and she won't get him back.

Rings Off Their Fingers

It's New Year's Eve and Jane's in despair at the state of her marriage while Rob's decided to leave for Australia to start a new life.
