Wagon master James Stephen leads a wagon train of settlers, including his wife and children, across the vast plains. Prominent among the settlers is Doc Grayson, who though not really a doctor provides what medical care he can to the travelers. The wagon train is beset by Pawnees, determined to make off with the horses. A later encounter with presumably friendly Sioux takes a dark turn when the son of the chief appears to be dying, and only Doc Grayson can help.

When slippery fight manager Knobby Walsh happens to discover Joe's surprising punching power, he signs him. With current champion Al McSwatt needing an easy opponent, Walsh gets Joe the fight. Palooka steals the championship (and girlfriend Nina Madero) from McSwatt, who shows up for the fight drunk. Now it's Joe's turn to live in the fast lane, winning fights (that are set-ups by Walsh) and drinking hard with vamp Nina. However, when McSwatt and his manager trick Joe into a rematch, it's time to test his real boxing talent.

Dagwood causes the Radcliffe Construction Company to lose a potential contract for a new radio-station building when he so irritates the client on the golf course that the client stops the negotiations. Blondie takes a hand. She meets an eccentric business man, joins him in his hobby of cooking, and eventually uses him as a lever to regain the building contract for Dagwood and the Radclidde company.

As King Edvard and Queen Paige prepare to leave Copenhagen on their honeymoon, Eddie, to please Paige, changes their destination from a Caribbean island to the fictional crown protectorate of Belavia; shortly after they arrive, a henchman (Oliver) for the ambitious Danish prime minister (Polonius) sees the couple, and Paige recognizes her former high-school boyfriend Scott, now a journalist. Soon the king and queen discover Oliver, machines, and a crew, about to start clearing a forest preserve to make way for an oil pipeline; the king orders them not to begin. The royal couple make progress with the prince of Belavia, but Polonius does his dirty tricks. Edvard and Paige learn that Scott has secretly taken part in the evil work of Polonius and Oliver. Many hijinks abound, but good and right prevail, so Eddie and Paige win, as does Belavia. The Danish parliament follow the leadership of their king, thereby defeating Polonius.

Three young boys, Rocky, Colt and Tum Tum together with their neighbor girl, computer whiz Amanda are visiting Mega Mountain amusement park when it is invaded by an army of ninjas led by evil Medusa, who wants to take over the park and hold the owners for ransom. Kids and retired TV star Dave Dragon, who made his farewell appearance at the park at the time the ninjas appeared, have to break Medusa's vicious plans.

Next is "A Very Goofy Christmas", in which Goofy tries to overcome his son's skepticism about Santa Claus. Finally, "Mickey & Minnie's Gift Of The Magi" recreate the classic tale of ironic Christmas selflessness. The stories are linked together by narration by Kelsey Grammer.

Along the way, they meet Mewel, a waif and stray (mule) who leads them to Dr. Pipt, who has been stirring the powder of life for nine years. Ojo adds plenty of brains to Margolotte's Patchwork servant before she is brought to life with the powder. When Scraps does come to life, she accidentally knocks the liquid of petrifaction upon Unc Nunkie, Margolotte, and Danx (daughter Jesseva's boyfriend). So all go on separate journeys to find the ingredients to the antidote. (Of course Jesseva has Danx shrunken to take with her, which causes trouble with Jinjur.) Of course, no one ever told Ojo that some of the ingredients were illegal to obtain...
