The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning
In this prequel re-telling of the famous 1979-1985 TV series of the same name, the teenage mischievous Duke boys, cousins Bo and Luke (Jonathan Bennett and Randy Wayne), are arrested for reckless driving and possession of illegal fireworks. They are sent to live with their Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson) on his farm in rural Hazzard County in an unnamed southwestern state. Bo and Luke's dowdy orphaned cousin Daisy (April Scott) soon joins them. Jesse is also a moonshiner who struggles to make ends meet and soon employs the willing Bo and Luke to be his runners to deliver his "special" White Lighting whiskey to all parts of the county after observing their driving skills using a fixed-up orange-painted 1969 Dodge Charger, The General Lee. But it doesn't take long for Bo and Luke to find a worthy opponent in the form of the cigar-chomping J.D. "Boss" Hogg (Christopher McDonald), the corrupt city commissioner of the nearby small town and county seat capital of Hazzard who determines to stop the Duke Boys in any way possible.

The Andromeda Strain
When virtually all of the residents of Piedmont, New Mexico, are found dead after the return to Earth of a space satellite, the head of the US Air Force's Project Scoop declares an emergency. Many years prior to this incident, a group of eminent scientists led by Dr. Jeremy Stone (Arthur Hill) advocated for the construction of a secure laboratory facility that would serve as a base in the event an alien biological life form was returned to Earth from a space mission. Stone and his team - Drs. Dutton, Leavitt and Hall (David Wayne, Kate Reid, and James Olson, respectively)- go to the facility, known as Wildfire, and try to first isolate the life form while determining why two people from Piedmont (an old wino and a six-month-old baby) survived. The scientists methodically study the alien life form unaware that it has already mutated and presents a far greater danger in the lab, which is equipped with a nuclear self-destruct device should it manage to escape.

Charlie is a London youngster who,with his friends,indulges in streaking and petty crime. However he aspires to better himself though his reckless friend Justin ruins his chances of working with his cousin Hector as an estate agent. Another of Charlie's friends Francis learns that his girlfriend has been unfaithful with the older Eddie and seeks revenge but ends up getting run over by Eddie.
