Super Bowl LIX

Super Bowl LIX

FOX

The AFC Conference Championship game was a brutal one, at least for Buffalo Bills supporters. Yet again, the seemingly unstoppable trio of Coach Andy Reid, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and tight end Travis Kelce vanquished Buffalo's dreams of returning to the Super Bowl. Despite some fans' complaints about officiating, the truth can't be denied: the Chiefs are one of the best football teams ever assembled. This year, they aim to achieve what no other team has done before: win three Super Bowls in a row. Some NFL fans can't stand the idea of Kansas City hoisting another Lombardi Trophy above their heads. But as Taylor Swift would say, "the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate" while the Chiefs just "shake it off." All that matters to this team is winning, and they're prepared to do just that.

But Kansas City will face a mighty opponent in the Philadelphia Eagles, who decimated the Washington Commanders in the NFC title game. The Birds' duo of quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley recorded another stellar performance, combining for a whopping seven touchdowns. Barkley averaged eight yards per carry, playing so well that by the fourth quarter, his backup Will Shipley entered the game to wrap things up. And then Shipley put on an outstanding show of his own, rushing for 77 yards on only four carries. In short, the Eagles' offense is exceptional and will be a constant problem for Kansas City's defense. But will Philly's explosiveness be enough to overpower one of football's all-time greatest squads? Can the Eagles pull off a Rocky Balboa-esque upset?

To find out, you'll have to tune in to Super Bowl LIX, broadcast live on FOX and Tubi from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The game begins at 6:30 p.m. EST on Sunday, Feb. 9. And just in case the game itself isn't enough entertainment for you, 17-time Grammy Award-winner Kendrick Lamar will be performing at halftime. So, if you're still wondering where to watch Super Bowl 2025, now you know how to catch all the action live. Don't miss it!
