Raven-Symone Joins the Ladies on The View... Because Why Not?
Perhaps this one will stick around longer than some of the others.
Raven-Symoné, who's been a fixture on The View for months, is now officially joining the table of hosts.
"We are happy to announce that Raven-Symoné is now permanently part of The View," Whoopi Goldberg announced at the top on Tuesday's broadcast.
"The Disney Company has made another one of my dreams come true!" Symone said. "Being a part of The View family will be a wonderful growing experience for me. The cast and crew are warm and welcoming and has made the transition into daytime talk easier. I have a lot to learn within this new arena, but being the apprentice of these spectacular women will only make me a better person and talk show host. I want to thank ABC, ABC News and The Disney Company for believing in me and my potential! Let's have some fun!"

The longtime ABC daytime show has had a revolving door of hosts over the years. Rosie Perez and political commentator Nicolle Wallace joined the group this season alongside Rosie O'Donnell, who returned after being a co-host in 2007, only to leave again in February.
