The Golden Globes confused America Ferrera with Gina Rodriguez during the nominations announcements on Thursday.

When Globes presenter Ferrera was at the podium announcing nominees, the official Twitter account for the ceremony identified the Ugly Betty star as Rodriguez. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only time they confused the two Latina actresses. The Globes had identified Ferrera as Rodriguez in another tweet just prior to the nominations.

Rodriguez told Entertainment Tonight that she hadn't even known about the mix-up until someone sent her an article about it. "But who cares. America's lovely," she said. "She's so beautiful and such a fantastic actress. If there's anybody I want to get mixed up with - it's her, for sure! To me, it's like, whatever. We always make mix-ups in life, man."

Of course, Rodriguez is probably a bit too busy celebrating to worry about such a silly mistake She received her second acting nomination for Jane the Virgin, an award she won last year -- and one that Ferrera won in 2007.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association later apologized to both actresses in a statement obtained by BuzzFeed.
