Both of them have been

We are four episodes into this season of The Challenge and the bulk of the show's drama is still revolving around the Kyle-Cara Maria-Paulie love triangle.

At this point both Kyle and Paulie have shown some unflattering colors as they have both tried to dominate the game and maintain Cara Maria's attention. After Tuesday's episode where Paulie showed he's not afraid to pull punches with anyone who voted for him and Natalie to go into elimination in Episode 3, it's time to take a poll to determine once and for all which of these two is the actual villain of The Challenge: Final Reckoning.

Kyle

His sins: Kyle revealed his behind-the-scenes reasons for not getting back with Cara Maria when he rejoined the show, which may or may not be true according to Twitter. Either way, he didn't share the info about his girl back home on the show and instead came off really immature by sleeping with Faith in front of Cara Maria and rubbing his ex's nose in it. On top of that, he got jealous when Cara Maria started flirting with Paulie and used it as motivation to send Paulie out of the game. He had no shame in this have-his-cake-and-eat-it-too policy which eroded a lot of the good will he established with fans during Vendettas. He's gone from being a super chill dude to a player with a lot of baggage, which is not a good look.

His redeeming qualities: The accent and tattoos are super hot and he has some of the most entertaining talking head segments of the entire cast.

The Challenge: These Are the Nastiest Feuds to Look Out For

Paulie

His sins: Episode 4 showed how dirty Paulie is willing to play to get under his enemies' skin. Instead of saying he was keeping a Big Brother alliance intact by picking Jozea and Devonne for the Redemption House elimination, he painted a huge target on his back by automatically sending Jenna and Britni home just to deliver a message to their boyfriends Zach and Brad, who voted for him to go into elimination in the first place. It was unnecessarily dramatic and will do him no favors in the long run. I love when Challengers are petty because that's good TV, but this was stupid strategy. To pour salt in the wound, after Paulie and Natalie lost the challenge, Paulie yelled to the entire cast that Britni and Chuck slept together in the Redemption House just to piss off Brad.* It was so tacky and the execution made Paulie look like a loose cannon rather than actually help his game.

His redeeming qualities: Natalie was definitely the weak link in the Redemption House elimination, but Paulie didn't lose his cool with her. He was extremely supportive and said they were a team, which actually showed a lot of emotional maturity and proved Paulie can be a really good guy when he wants to be.

So is playing the field worse than lying to emotionally torture your enemies? Vote in our TV Guide poll to let us know which of these controversial Challenge players is the worst. I think that no matter who you choose, we can all agree that Cara Maria can do better.

*Brad and Britni have not posted an Instagram photo together since June 8. The cameras never showed Britni and Chuck hooking up, but there was definitely sexual tension in the Redemption House so even though Paulie was lying during his blow-up, the Final Reckoning reunion special about this disaster is going to be lit.
