The final full moons of Teen Wolf are upon us and there are still so many things that need to happen before the McCall pack leaves Beacon Hills.
Season 6 will center on Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), or at least his disappearance, when the Storm Riders arrive in town and start erasing people from the living realm and the memories of the people that loved them. Stiles will get stuck with Peter Hale (Ian Bohen) to try and find his way back to his friends, but the pack will have to pool all their resources to find the best friend they can no longer remember.
The season will be 20 episodes long and broken into two halves. While that seems like there's a lot of Teen Wolf left to indulge in before the end, TVGuide.com went ahead and made a list of all the things we need to happen before we say goodbye to our favorite werewolves, werecoyote, banshee and humans.
1. The "Stydia" Union
Stiles has been in love with Lydia Martin (Holland Roden) since the pilot episode. Over the course of five seasons they've gone from opposite sides of the social spectrum to being extremely close friends. Now that Stiles and Malia (Shelley Hennig) have ended their relationship, this is the perfect time for Stiles and Lydia to take their friendship to the next level. The last full-length trailer for the season already has us bathing in "Stydia" feels.
2. Lydia in action
Lydia got a really cool fight scene when she was held captive at Eichen House in Season 5, but for the majority of last season's arc the show's most powerful character spent most of her time strapped to a bed. Lydia seems to be the one with the strongest sense of Stiles' presence, and we're ready to see her take a larger, and more satisfying, role as a leader of this pack.
3. Find out what happened to Kira
We know that we won't actually see Kira (Arden Cho) this season after Cho announced this summer she had been let go from the show. Still, are we supposed to believe that she's stuck underground with the Skinwalkers trying to control her Kitsune powers for this long and Scott (Tyler Posey) isn't worried about her? We need a full explanation of why she's gone and how Scott is dealing with the fact his girlfriend has just disappeared.
4. Mama McCall and Papa Stiles making Scott and Stiles actual brothers
Season 5 presented us with one of the most unexpected "ships" — Melissa McCall (Melissa Ponzio) and Sheriff Stillinski (Linden Ashby). The parents of the most danger-seeking teenagers in Beacon Hills really hit it off last season and we would love to see what's really going on there in a romantic sense. They could be a great comfort to each other when their kids are off chasing supernatural boogeymen and they know how to have each other's backs. Let's see these two families get merged, ASAP.
5. Bring back familiar faces
Stiles is stuck with Peter in the land of the forgotten, which is a super creative way to work around Dylan O'Brien's hectic movie filming schedule, but also a genius way to bring back familiar faces one last time before the show says its final goodbye. Could Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) also have ended up in the forgotten realm? Maybe he's hanging out with Isaac (Daniel Sharman) or Jackson (Colton Haynes). There are a lot of people who have stopped by Teen Wolf and didn't get to see their stories resolved, and this could be a chance to do those characters some justice.
6. Scott needs to save Stiles
Yes, we want a glorious "Stydia" union, but it needs to be Scott that saves Stiles. They are the original members of the pack and their relationship has been the central one for the entire show. They're brothers from different mothers and the world is a terrible place if they are separated from each other. Plus, "Sciles" scenes have created some of the most emotionally impactful content of the entire Teen Wolf run. If anyone is going to save Stiles from being forgotten, it needs to be his best friend and the person that knows him better than anyone.
What do you want to see in the final season of Teen Wolf?
Season 6 kicks off Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 9/8c on MTV.
