Ted Allen Engaged to Partner of 20 Years

Ted Allen celebrated Wednesday's landmark Supreme Court ruling by announcing a milestone of his own: The Choppedhost is engaged to his longtime partner Barry Rice!

"Proud to announce on this historic day that my partner of 20 years, Barry Rice, and I are engaged to be married :)," Allen tweeted.

Allen wasn't the only one who shared plans to say "I do" following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8, securing federal benefits for gay married couples and clearing the way for same-sex marriage in California. Singer Melissa Etheridge also announced her engagement to Linda Wallem on Wednesday.
