Supergirl has finally found the man for its take on iconic Superman villain Lex Luthor: Two and a Half Men's Jon Cryer. The two-time Emmy winner will make his first appearance as the bald baddie in Episode 15 of Season 4.

"We are enormous fans of Jon Cryer, and he was instantly our dream actor to play the iconic role of Lex Luthor," Supergirl executive producers Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller said in a statement. "Jon is a super-talent, and the fact that he played Lenny Luthor in Superman IV brings an added layer of legacy to his casting. We're beyond thrilled to welcome Jon to the Supergirl family."

Cryer joins Gene Hackman, Kevin Spacey, Jesse Eisenberg and Michael Rosenbaum among the ranks of actors who have played Luthor.

On Supergirl, Luthor's family and corporation have been major players throughout the show's run. His sister Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath) took over Luthor Corp while Lex was incarcerated, renamed it L-Corp, and has rebranded it as a force for good in the world. She's a close friend of Kara's, aka Supergirl's (Melissa Benoist). It remains to be seen what Lex gets up to once he's home from prison, but it will surely cause big trouble for Lena and Kara.

Supergirl airs Sundays at 8/7c on The CW.
