More than 70 stars came together Monday to lend their voices to a remake of "We Are the World" to raise money for earthquake victims in Haiti.

"Everybody left their ego at the door," Quincy Jones said, according to Reuters, referring to a sign he hung over the studio door during the 1985 recording of the original, which he co-produced.

The roster of celebrities included everyone from music legends Tony Bennett

and Barbra Streisand to teen sensations Justin Bieber and the Jonas Brothers. The diverse group also features Celine Dion, Carlos Santana, Jason Mraz, Akon, Kanye West, will.i.am, LL Cool J, Jeff Bridges, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson, T-Pain, Natalie Cole, Julianne Hough, Pink, Joel and Benji Madden, Nicole Richie, Rashida Jones and Vince Vaughn.

The lyrics, which were written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, were updated from the original tune, which benefited African famine relief. Wyclef Jean, producer RedOne and musical director Ricky Minor will produce the new version. Crash director Paul Haggis will direct the music video.The song will make its world premiere during NBC's coverage of the Winter Olympics opening ceremony on Feb. 12.
