Scandal Casts Jeff Perry's Daughter Zoe Perry for Mysterious Role

Scandal is staging a family reunion: Zoe Perry, the daughter of Cyrus Beene himself, Jeff Perry, will recur in Season 6, TVGuide.com has learned.

Further details about her character and arc were not released, but fingers crossed for some fiery scenes between father and daughter. If Vargas (Ricardo Chavira) and Cyrus win the election, she could be on their staff, no?

Zoe, the only child of Jeff and his ex-wife Laurie Metcalf, most recently starred on the ABC drama The Family. Her other TV credits include Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Cold Case, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Metcalf's series Roseanne. She made her Broadway debut in 2013 in The Other Place opposite her mother and starred in a production of Anna Christie last year opposite her father and Grey's star Kevin McKidd.

Season 6 of Scandal premieres Thursday, Jan. 19 at 9/8c on ABC.
