Will Drake Be a Better SNL Host/Musical Guest Than Ariana Grande?

The boy born Aubrey Graham will host May 14, followed by SNL alum Fred Armisen on May 21

Drake, who just released his fourth album Views last week, is everywhere these days, from the radio to memes to basketball games. He will continue his reign of cultural domination when he appears as host and musical guest on the May 14 episode of Saturday Night Live.

This will be Drake's second time pulling double duty and third time guesting overall (his first appearance in 2011 was just as musical guest). He will be the third host/musical guest this season, after Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande. Grande leaves Drake with some big shoes to fill -- metaphorically speaking -- as she was arguably the best host on SNL this season, and definitely the most surprisingly hilarious.

Longtime SNL cast member Fred Armisen will return to the show as host for May 22nd's season finale. It will be his first time hosting, but not his first time returning since leaving the show in 2013. Most recently, he appeared in SNL's Prince tribute last week, reprising his impression of the late performer. Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett will serve as musical guest.

This Saturday's (May 7) episode will be hosted by reigning Best Actress Brie Larson, with musical guest Alicia Keys.
