Pretty Little Liars: Two Original Couples Are on the Verge of Reunions

Who is in a hurry to get back together?

Megan Vick

Pretty Little Liars made fans "Ezria" and "Haleb" fans very happy on Tuesday night as both original 'ships made huge steps toward reunions.

Writing has been on the wall for both couples since both couples reconnected in the Season 6 finale. Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding) slept together (again) while Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) shared a kiss before she was kidnapped by A.D.

Hanna was returned safely to her friends at the top of Tuesday night's episode and it was immediately apparent that the chemistry between her and Caleb hadn't died down. She tried to blame their kiss on nostalgia, but even Spencer (Troian Bellisario) could see that Hanna and Caleb have something much deeper than a platonic friendship.

Hanna even tried to rekindle the romance with her fiancee Jordan (David Coussins) to prove she wasn't still hung up on her ex. Their trip down memory lane ended in tears though, when Hanna learned the bar where they first met closed and subsequently gave him back his engagement ring. Symbolism, you know? Spencer confronted Caleb about checking out of their relationship, make it obvious it's only a matter of time before Hanna and Caleb find their way back to each other.

"Haleb" weren't the only ones headed for a reunion. Aria dumped Liam (Roberto Aguire) within seconds of his arrival in Rosewood. In fact, she did it so quickly he didn't even have time to inform her that he'd been promoted to being the new editor of the book she's writing with Ezra. There's nothing awkward about that, right?

That situation was awkward from the get-go, when Liam confronted Ezra about the predatory relationship in the novel -- yes, the predatory relationship that's very closely based on Ezra and Aria's actual relationship. Still, even with their (real) story mostly out in the open now, Aria is unfazed by the criticism and is still certain nothing will deter her from being with Ezra.

The question now is whether Jordan and Liam are willing to walk away from the Liars they've fallen for or if they're going to put up a fight against their old loves.

Which couple do you want to see back together?

Pretty Little Liars continues Tuesday nights at 8/7c on Freeform.
