The New House of Cards Trailer Contains 100% Less Kevin Spacey

All eyes on Claire

Kat Rosenfield

If you've been wondering what House of Cards' White House will look like without a drawling Machiavellian schemer in the Oval Office, the new trailer for the show's sixth and final season has your answer: it's dang stylish.

In this short peek at the show aired during the 90th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday March 4, a camera tracks down the hall in the West Wing and arrives in the office where the buck stops, where Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) is sitting in the big chair, ready to kick off her administration with four little words:

"We're just getting started," she says.

It's a bold tone to set in anticipation of the show's last season, which has had a tumultuous road to production after losing its star to sexual harassment allegations. Kevin Spacey starred in House of Cards for five seasons, but was jettisoned at considerable cost last year after multiple men accused him of sexual harassment.

Wright will anchor the show in its final outing, with support from new cast members Greg Kinnear and Diane Lane.

House of Cards will debut its sixth season on Netflix this fall.
