Production on House of Cards' final season has officially resumed and with Kevin Spacey out, the show is bringing in some new recruits.

TV Guide has confirmed that Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear have joined the Netlix drama for its sixth and final season. While not much has been revealed about their characters as of yet, we do know that they'll play siblings. They join Robin Wright, who will now take over as the sole lead of the series after Netflix cut ties with Spacey amid sexual assault allegations.

Moving on From Kevin Spacey Cost Netflix a Lot of Dough

The series halted production in October after accusations that Spacey had made sexual advances and groped underaged boys, including Star Trek: Discovery's Anthony Rapp and Harry Dreyfuss surfaced. More men then came forward with accusations against the star, including allegations of rape. The streaming service officially cut ties with Spacey in December and production finally resumed on Wednesday.

In addition to Wright, Lane and Kinnear, Season 6 will star Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott and Boris McGiver.

The sixth and final season of House of Cards is expected to air later this year.
