Newcomer Chicago Justiceand the much-hyped The Blacklistspinoff won't come until mid-season, which is also when we'll see exciting new comedies Powerless, andGreat News, which reunites many from the30 Rock team.

New time-travel drama Timeless follows ratings juggernaut The Voice, which adds Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys this season. Timeless' slot, which helped make The Blacklist a winner, signals a big investment in show from The Shield's Shawn Ryan and Supernatural's Eric Kripke.
9/8c: This Is Us
10/9c: Chicago Fire
Another strong program follows The Voice -- this one Dan Fogleman's new dramedy, This Is Us. It's already winning rave reviews for it's "beautiful" and "provocative" exploration of a group of people who are united by birthdays, and much more (and you can check out a trailer here.). Sandwiched between stalwarts The Voice and Chicago Fire, it's being given a strong chance for success.
Is NBC's iconic Thursday comedy block back? The network is certainly making an effort to revive it, with a sophomore season of Superstore, followed by The Good Place with Ted Danson -- who's back in a familiar place where everybody knows his name.
