MTV is reaching into the archives to pull out another classic: Undressed. The network is working on a revival of the groundbreaking series, which chronicled the sexual and romantic relationships of young people in the Los Angeles area, Deadline reports.

Created by Oscar-nominated director Roland Joffe, the scripted anthology series ran for six seasons from 1999-2002. Each season would feature a new cast in recurring roles, with every episode focused on two or three of the characters whose stories would be interwoven. Undressed was lauded for its honest discussions about sex and for its portrayal of same-sex relationships, which earned it a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Daily Drama in 2003.

Over the course of its run, the series featured several stars before they were famous, including New Girl's Max Greenfield, Mad Men's Christina Hendricks, One Tree Hill's Chad Michael Murray, Twilight's Rachelle Lefevre and DC's Legends of Tomorrow's Brandon Routh.

Undressed is the latest series to be revived by MTV, joining the likes of Daria, The Real World, Made and a live-action reboot ofthe animated classic Aeon Flux. It's all part of the network's launch of MTV Studios, which hopes to sell reboots, revivals and spin-offs of some of their most iconic shows to other networks and streaming services.
