Mariah Carey Got Engaged to Her Billionaire Boyfriend

Mariah Carey is engaged, E! reports.
The 45-year-old singer, who began dating Australian billionaire James Packer in 2015 after her split with Nick Cannon, said yes after Packer gathered Carey's friends for a private dinner and proposed in New York. Packer, said to be worth more than $4 billion, gave Carey a 35 carat rock, pretty much making Mariah the greatest breakup winner of all time.

There's no date yet, but this would make the third marriage for both - and create a big blended family. Carey, previously married to music mogul Tommy Mottola, has two children, 4-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with Cannon, while 48-year-old Packer has three.
