The comedian began selling tickets via his website on Monday. He opted against using mainstream ticketing vendors like Ticketmaster in order to keep his fans from paying processing fees. Tickets immediately sold out, prompting C.K. to add more show dates and venues.
C.K. has made a bit of a splash by cutting out the middle man. Last year, he offered one his latest stand-up comedy special to fans as a $5 download rather than sell it to a TV network. He made more than $1 million in 12 days, much of which he gave to charity.

Louis C.K.'s FX series Louie debuts its third season on Thursday at 10:30/9:30c.
