The Scandal couple is splitting up after nine years
Shondaland is down a couple. Liza Weil and Paul Adelstein are ending their marriage after nine years together, Peoplereports.
The How to Get Away with Murder actress filed for divorce on March 25, citing irreconcilable differences. Weil will represent herself during the divorce proceedings.
Adelstein, who starred on Private Practice, and Weil married in October 2006, and separated in January. Weil is requesting joint custody of their daughter Josephine, 5, and spousal support is being discussed in mediation.

The divorce comes as Weil is hard at work on the Gilmore Girls revival, where she'll be reprising her role as Rory's (Alexis Bledel) good friend Paris Geller. Adelstein currently stars on Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, in addition to recurring onScandal, on which Weil also formerly starred.
