Netflix has revealed the first trailer for Let It Snow, an adaptation of the YA novel of the same name, and it looks like the town of Gracetown is the place to be this holiday season. Like the book, the film centers on three groups of high school seniors whose romantic lives become interconnected after a series of strange events: A pop star gets stranded in their small town by the snow, someone steals a keg, and there's a big Christmas Eve bash at Waffle Town — oh, and a woman covered in tin foil.
As the trailer shows, there will be a little something for everyone in this story — there's unrequited romance, a pair of accidental snow angels, and, yes, even a little milkshake-to-the-face vengeance going on.
The film is based upon the best-selling 2008 book Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances, which features three intersecting stories by Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's Kiernan Shipka stars alongside The Get Down's Shameik Moore, Anna Akana, Disney's Descendants star Mitchell Hope, Marvel's Jacob Batalon, Isabela Moner, Odeya Rush, Miles Robbins, Liv Hewson, and Joan Cusack.
Let It Snow will arrive on Netflix on Friday, Nov. 8.
