Let It Snow, which Green co-wrote with Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle, could be Love Actually for teens.

Looking for Alaska isn't the only John Green book getting the adaptation treatment at this time.

His holiday novel Let It Snow: The Holiday Romances, co-authored with Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle, is also being developed for Netflix right now, and the cast is going to be pretty magical.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrinastar Kiernan Shipka leads the young line-up of announced stars, with The Get Down's Shameik Moore, Anna Akana, Disney's Descendants star Mitchell Hope, Jacob Batalon, Isabela Moner, Odeya Rush and Liv Hewson also joining the film.

Let It Snow features three intertwining high school-age romance stories set in the fictional Gracetown, as a snowstorm sets in. In December, Netflix snapped up the rights from Universal Pictures after it was delayed multiple times by the studio, but Luke Snellin is still expected to direct.

This is but the latest John Green project to make the transition to celluloid. The adaptation of his tragic romance The Fault in Our Starswas a box office smash in 2014, while 2015's Paper Towns was slightly less successful at courting an audience. Both screenplays were co-written by Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber, both of whom also worked on the script for Let It Snow, after it was originally written by Blockers and Pitch Perfect writer Kay Cannon.
