Lana Del Rey had something a lot creepier than spiders living in her Malibu, Calif., Home. A local detective tells Entertainment Tonight that a 19-year-old man was found camping out in the garage area of the singer's home while it's under construction.

A construction worker originally spotted the squatter who skedaddled before police could arrive. The belongings he left behind told the police the man believed he has a "spiritual connection" to Lana.

"Based on ramblings in his notes, he was clearly infatuated with Lana," the detective tells ET. The man was eventually tracked down in Santa Monica and arrested on Tuesday. The police say Del Rey was never confronted with the man nor faced any violent threats.

Still, it's disturbing news for Del Rey who reportedly bought the Malibu home to avoid fan encounters.TMZ reported in June that the singer's previous residence in the Hancock Plaza area left her too exposed to her fans who had taken to camping out in front of her street.

If Del Rey doesn't decide to relocate she should absolutely look into upping her security before she officially moves in.
