It's here! The moment iZombie fans have all been waiting for has finally come.

Jason Dohring, who played fan favorite Logan Echolls on the network's cult drama Veronica Mars, has booked an arc on the third season of the CW zombie series. According to TV Line, the actor will recur as Chase Graves, the brother-in-law of Vivian Stoll (Andrea Savage), who was introduced in the Season 2 finale and promised a new zombie world order.

It's no secret that iZombie has been courting Dohring. Co-creator Rob Thomas, who also created Veronica Mars, previously told TV Line that he'd been hoping to book Dohring for a role in Season 2, but the actor was snatched up by fellow CW series The Originals.

iZombie: Will zombies become public knowledge?

Dohring is just the latest Veronica Mars alum to appear on the series. Ryan Hansen, Percy Daggs III, Enrico Colantoni, Daran Norris, Adam Rose and Ken Marino have all guest-starred, while Kristen Bell lent her voice to an episode last season. Colantoni will also direct an episode in Season 3.

iZombie returns at midseason on The CW.
