Pun totally intended

The official trailer for Amazon's Good Omens is everything fans of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's novel could hope for. There's angels, demons, some very interesting hair choices, hell hounds, Queen, and, oh yeah, the end of the entire world.

Michael Sheen and David Tennant star in this cheeky series as an angel and demon, respectively, who team up to prevent the rise of the Antichrist -- who just so happens to be an 11-year-old boy named Adam (Sam Tyler Buck) -- as well as the final battle of Armageddon that will follow. Working against them, however, are high-ranking representatives from both Heaven and Hell who are determined to incite the End of Days since -- as Jon Hamm's Gabriel explains -- there has to be a war because "otherwise, how would we win it?"

Also, if you're blown away by the mere idea of Sheen, Tennant and, Hamm teaming up for a series, wait until you peep the entire cast list, which includes - deep breath -- Michael McKean, Mireille Enos, David Morrissey, Nick Offerman, and Yusuf Gatewood, plus Frances McDormand as the voice of God and Benedict Cumberbatch as a 400-foot tall Satan.

All six episodes of Good Omens are slated to hit Amazon Prime on Friday, May 31.
