Where they lead, we will follow this November.

On Wednesday, during the Television Critics Association summer TV previews, Netflix finally announced a premiere date for the highly anticipated Gilmore Girls revival, appropriately titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. The four 90-minute episodes will debut on Friday, Nov. 25, with each chapter covering a single season in the lives of the show's titular girls, played by Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Alexis Bledel (Rory) and Kelly Bishop (Emily).

12 questions still haunting Gilmore Girls fans

Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, Gilmore Girls originally aired on The WB and its successor The CW from 2000 to 2007. Set in the quaint fictional town of Stars Hollow, Conn., the series starred Graham as a fast talking, pop culture-obsessed single mother and depicted her relationships with her teenage daughter, the studious Rory (Bledel), and her wealthy mother, Emily (Bishop).

The revival, which was first announced late last year, will pick up four months after the death of Gilmore family patriarch Richard (Edward Herrmann). Herrmann passed away in December 2014.

Most of the show's original cast is returning for the revival. In addition to Graham, Bledel, and Bishop, also returning for the revival are Scott Patterson (Luke Danes), Melissa McCarthy (Sookie St. James), Yanic Truesdale (Michel Gerard), Liza Weil (Paris Geller), Keiko Agena (Lane Kim), Sean Gunn (Kirk Gleason), Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess Mariano) and Matt Czuchry (Logan Huntzberger), among others.
