Fox Reveals Winter Premiere Dates for Sleepy Hollow and More

Now that November has arrived and the most exciting World Series in years has concluded, Fox has firmed up its winter schedule, so go grab your 2017 puppies and kittens calendar and mark these premiere dates down.

Lee Daniels' highly anticipated new music drama Star will have a special premiere following Empire's fall finale on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 9/8c, with new episodes resuming Wednesday, Jan. 4, behind buddy comedy Lethal Weapon.

New comedy The Mick, starring It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Kaitlin Olson, will debut Sunday, Jan. 1 at 8/7c before moving to its regular post-New Girl timeslot at 8:30 p.m. two days later on Tuesday, Jan. 3. The premiere of the twelfth and final season of Bones will then follow at 9 p.m.

Elsewhere, the new season of Hell's Kitchen will kick things off with a two-hour premiere Thursday, Jan. 5. Sleepy Hollow's fourth season, the first without original star Nicole Beharie, will premiere Friday, Jan. 6 at 9/8c behind new episodes of Rosewood.

As previously announced, 24: Legacy will debut the first hour of its two-part premiere Sunday, Feb. 5 after the conclusion of the Super Bowl. The second hour will continue Monday, Feb. 6 at 8/7c ahead of the debut of the new crime-fighting drama APB.

To make room on Fox's tight schedule, the network has benched Pitch and The Exorcist. Brooklyn Nine-Nine will air a one-hour winter finale Sunday, Jan. 1, Monday-night dramas Gotham and Luciferwill air their winter finales Monday, Jan. 30 and Son of Zorn will air its season finale Feb. 19. Both Lethal Weapon and Star will air their season finales Wednesday, March 15, while Empire will resume the second-half of its third season the following week on March 22.
