At long last, the offspring of your favorite Disney villains have returned for another installment of infectious song and dance in the first official look at Descendants 3.
The preview finds new trouble ahead for Mal (Dove Cameron), Evie (Sofia Carson), Carlos (Cameron Boyce) and Jay (BooBoo Stewart) as they go up against the blue-haired, fingerless-glove-wearing lord of the underworld, Hades (Cheyenne Jackson). Sure, it's only a half-minute long, but those fun 30 seconds teased killer new locations, swashbuckling sword fights and King Ben (Mitchell Hope) finally going full beast mode. Plus, it looks like we're going to meet Dr. Facilier (Jamal Sims) and his daughter Celia (Jadah Marie) in live-action form. Who knew the evil witch doctor had a thing for arcades?
Continuing this thrilling musical saga of good versus evil, the villain kids return to the Isle of the Lost to recruit others like them to Auradon Prep. When a breach in the barrier that divides both lands threatens the safety of everyone in the kingdom, however, Mal considers closing it for good -- especially with Uma (China Anne McClain) and Hades out and about seeking vengeance. Despite her choice to protect her people, an "unfathomable dark force" still looms and it will be up to Mal and the rest of the VKs -- including Harry (Thomas Doherty) and Gil (Dylan Playfair) -- to stop this evil as they face their biggest battle yet.
Descendants 3 arrives this summer on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.
