Despite finally hooking up on Chicago Med, Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Bekker (Norma Kuhling) again find themselves at odds. This time, the tempestuous duo are fighting over which of their patients should be the one to receive a heart transplant.

In this exclusive sneak peek at Tuesday's episode, "Best Laid Plans," Bekker is steamed to find out that Rhodes' patient was somehow bumped above hers on the transplant list thanks to a sneaky maneuver by Rhodes. She then confronts him face-to-face about going behind her back, and that's when things get heated.

"You're taking a heart that doesn't belong to you," she snaps at him.

Rhodes, who isn't too keen on being yelled at, fires back his defense. "I am fighting for one that's available!"

Chicago Med's Nick Gelhfuss Says Natalie Will Continue to Challenge Will

With their patients' lives hanging in the balance, these two are going to have to figure out a solution that works for everyone involved. That won't be easy considering both doctors refuse to back down.

However, they won't be the only couple having a disagreement in the ED. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and Manning (Torrey DeVitto) will also find themselves on opposing sides over a mother's decision regarding the care of her adult son who is currently in a vegetative state. Plus, Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) will have a puzzling case on his hands when a woman falls asleep in the waiting room but can't seem to wake up.

Watch the drama unfold when a new episode of Chicago Med airs Tuesday at 10/9c on NBC.
