When Rosie O'Donnell's 17-year-old daughter Chelsea was found on Tuesday after being missing for a week, she was staying with a 25-year-old alleged heroin addict she met on Tinder, Us Weekly reports.

Chelsea and her therapy dog, Bear, were located in Steven Sheerer's home in New Jersey, a spokesman for the Ocean County Police Department told People. Sheerer, whom a source tells People is not Chelsea's boyfriend, initially lied to authorities and said that Chelsea was not at his house. Police then searched the home and found Chelsea, whom the police spokesman says "cooperated very well."

Sheerer has a criminal record for heroin possession.

Rosie O'Donnell's daughter has been found safe

In a Missing Persons ad that Rosie O'Donnell posted on Tuesday, before her daughter was found, she described Chelsea as mentally ill and said she had stopped taking her medications.

O'Donnell also named Sheerer on Twitter and has addressed Chelsea's disappearance:
