Jillian Michaels of The Biggest Loseris being sued for alleged false advertising for a diet supplement, The Associated Press reports.

A California woman, Christie Christensen, is seeking class-action status for her case against the personal trainer after purchasing the product called Jillian Michaels Maximum Strength Calorie Control because of the trainer's endorsement.

Biggest Loser's Melissa says she and Jillian Michaels "didn't see eye to eye"

She claims the product has not lessened her appetite or helped her lose weight, and it seeking unspecified damages not expected to total more than $5 million.

Michaels' rep did not immediately respond to comment, while a rep for the NBC show — one of the network's few hits — refused to comment "because we're not involved with this product and it is not in any way associated with The Biggest Loser or used by the contestants on the show."
