A Bachelor Winter Games couple has called it quits.

Ashley Iaconetti and Kevin Wendt, who were declared the winners of the inaugural season of theBachelor spin-off, have broken up, Entertainment Tonight reports. A source close to the couple says they just couldn't make the long-distance relationship work since Ashley lives in Los Angeles and Kevin resides in Canada.

"It was a little weird to have to figure out a long-term plan so soon," the source said, per ET. "Ashley and Kevin were both really into each other, they just weren't sure if it was a forever thing. And it's hard to date long distance like that."

Winter Games marked Ashley's fourth appearance in the Bachelor franchise after vying for Chris Soules' heart during Season 19 of The Bachelor and starring in Seasons 2 and 3 of Bachelor in Paradise. During Winter Games, Ashley -- whose virginity has been a major part of her story -- even went on a fantasy suite date with Kevin but insists they simply talked all night.

The Bachelor Winter Games Ended with a Surprise Proposal

The couple's split comes as a major surprise since they posted photos together as recently as three days ago. However, all should be explained when Ashley and Kevin address the amicable breakup during the next episode of Ashley's podcast The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast.
