American Idolis really changing up its formula this season. Wednesday's episode revealed the Top 3 finalists, meaning one singer will be brutally cut at the top of next Tuesday's performance finale. Talk about way harsh, Tai!

So who are the three contestants left? As anyone could have predicted, Rayvon was finally sent home, leaving Jax, Clark and Nick to battle it out for the finale spots.

What song does American Idol need to retire?

If you're still undecided on who you're rooting for, check out each of their best performances of the night:

Jax - The Who's "My Generation"

Jax's angsty rendition of Evanescence's "My Immortal" was as fine as her cover of Paramore's "Misery Business" was atrocious, but it was crowd-pleasing take on "My Generation" that will likely secure Jax a spot in the finale.

Nick Fradiani - Bruce Springsteen's "Because the Night"

Nick had an incredibly consistent night, including the Idol go-to "I'll Be" and Andy Grammer's "Back Home." But covering The Boss seemed to be the best fit for his All-American vibe.

Clark - The Weeknd's "Earned It"

While many would point to Clark's performance of "(Sittin' on) The Dock of the Bay" as his best moment, we already knew he could do old-school soul. It was great to see him take on a very modern song with a little more swagger. And even though his pitch wasn't always perfect, seeing him break the mold was good enough to help us forget his terrible cover of "Beautiful Day."
