American Idol's Lauren Alaina on vocal problems: I knew God would get me through it

But after a night filled with performances from Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Bono, host Ryan Seacrest finally gave the results, and it was Scotty who was showered with confetti at the Nokia Theatre. He was a gracious victor. "It's been a year since Lauren Alaina and I tried out," Scotty said. "Me and her have been together since Day 1, and we're going to stay together."Scotty ended the show with "I Love You This Big," his first single. He stopped singing multiple times to hug his family and couldn't stop himself from laughing. As the song ended, he collapsed on the floor, where all Top 13 finalists crowded around him, and Lauren kissed him several times on the cheek."Never in my wildest dreams..." Scotty said when asked how he felt. "I have to thank the Lord first. He got me here."Do you think America got it right?
