Paul (Kent Arne Dahlgren), a taxi driver living in Stockholm, runs into his alcoholic and gambling-addict father Ollie at a horse racetrack. They go back to Paul's apartment where his girlfriend Marianne (Solveig Andersson) is wandering around butt-naked, and the drunken father attacks her. Later that evening, Paul and Marianne go to a swanky party hosted by their artist friend Peter (Leif Ahrle), and while Paul seduces an attractive blonde in a back room, Marianne runs into her younger, plain but free-spirited sister Beryl (Gunilla O. Larsson), the star of a Warholesque "art" film showing at the party. Beryl gets so drunk that she, Paul and Marianne end up in bed together. After a bizarre family reunion/birthday party, Marianne leaves for Copenhagen on a journalist assignment while Beryl pursues a nude-modeling career with her much more attractive friend Eva (Christina Lindberg). Beryl also tries to seduce Paul, but he is much more interested in Eva, seducing her on the living room couch while her own oblivious (or apathetic) boyfriend is passed out a few feet away. Eva is revealed to be abused by her boyfriend Peter, when he makes her do housework in the nude for some reason that is never explained. There's also a "McGuffin" involving a shipment of drugs hidden in a fur coat that Beryl comes across, while a gangster named Mr. X. tries to find his drug shipment.
