Distracted workaholic Carlo and dedicated mother Giulia have three children: 13-year-old rebellious Camilla, who is in full hormonal and sentimental development; 10-year-old smart-alecky Tito, who is always playing "harmless" pranks; and 2-year-old Bianca, who doesn't speak but uses gestures. Giulia gave up her career to raise her family. One day she becomes too tired of the routine and tells her family that she is leaving for a 10-day vacation. Suddenly, Carlo finds himself trapped in a real nightmare of dinners to prepare, kindergarten placements, Camilla's embarrassing confided secrets, wild games with his son's friends, quarrels, near-disasters, and missed appointments at work.
