In keeping with the film's title, the heroine of this five-reel Thanhouser production is a sightless young lady named Eleanor Grayson, played by Florence LaBadie. Burton Lester (Boyd Grayson), a wealthy artist, falls in love with Eleanor and takes it upon himself to finance the girl's sight-restoring operation. After the surgery, Eleanor's eyes are opened in more ways than one when she finds out that Lester is already married. She heads to New York, where she achieves success as a portrait painter and also wins the love of socialite Frank Hargreave (Harris Gordon). But her hopes for lasting happiness are dashed when Hargreave accuses her of having been Lester's mistress. Determined that Lester will never ruin another young girl's life, she endeavors to break up his latest "romance" with Vera (Gladys Leslie) -- who happens to be Hargreave's sister. A double happy ending ensues when it turns out that Vera and Lester are not lovers and when Eleanor and Hargreave are reunited through the persistence of their mutual friends.
