The Waiting

The story begins with two young couple Raunak and Natasha, who is meeting on the 14th Feb in an old coffee cafe, and are at the verge of breaking their engagement, due to loss of trust between the two. Raunak finds out that his father Neeraj is in the same cafe with another woman Mehak. Natasha seeing her father-in-law with another woman because unsettled and questions the character of his family and decides to break relationship with him. Raunak fueled by Natasha's resentment now confronts Neeraj. Neeraj reveals about Mehak, how they met and at one point were getting married, but during that time she detected cancer and his family stood against this marriage. Post this she decided to walk away from his life to never come back. After some years she returned and decided to meet Neeraj. It was that day, 14 Feb Mehak came back, but Neeraj was married. She asked him to meet at-least one day in the year on every 14 Feb in the same cafe to celebrate their love. Moment of epiphany happens when Natasha comes to know that Mehak has remained unmarried through-out her life and is living just to celebrate this one day with Neeraj. Natasha realizes her mistake and she apologizes to Raunak. They decide to continue their marriage and live happily ever after.
