The Vanguard
In a post-apocalyptic future where apparently the sun, common sense, and quality control have all died, humanity is being terrorized by a mysterious virus that turns people into bloodthirsty mutants. Enter the Vanguard, a supposedly elite survivor whose main qualifications appear to be running in a fake forest with an ax and looking worried. The hero travel through a devastated world filled with zombies, mutants, explosions, and enough abandoned buildings to make you wonder if the production crew simply filmed wherever they could park the van. Along the way, he discover that the real threat isn't just the infected, its a shadowy corporation conducting sinister experiments because apparently every apocalypse needs a villain with a laboratory. Our hero spend most of the movie fighting, fleeing, and occasionally making decisions that strongly suggest that surviving the apocalypse has not necessarily made him smarter. Eventually, the Vanguard must uncover the truth behind the virus and stop the evil forces responsible before humanity is wiped out.
