In this film, Dorothy Donnelly plays a wife whose extravagance far exceeds her allowance. In desperation, she steals money from her best friend. The film bogs down in its own dramaturgy as Donnelly tries to make amends to her friend, her unforgiving husband Richard Buhler, and her own consciences.
