In this version of Oscar Wilde's macabre novel, Dorian Gray is an actress who, desperate to become a worldwide celebrity, makes a deal that exchanges her soul to her image on screen, then proceeds to sleep her way to the top, knowing that she will never age. Strangely, after 20 years as a leading fashion model, she remains completely unmarked and apparently unchanged by age. She is beautiful, wealthy and famous; even she disgusts and destroys everyone around her, and people hate her intensely.
