Who would have thought that the fervour for politics and the ardour for power would turn upside down an entire island? Since forever, the relations between two neighbouring and antagonistic tavern owners, Aspasia Zorbala and Anargiros Prokopis, have been in tatters, with those two crossing bayonets at any given time. But, to make matters worse, their beloved children--Anargiros' son, Dimitris, and Aspasia's daughter, Maroula--are very much in love behind their parents' backs, threatening to aggravate an already tense situation now that they both formally announced their candidacy for the upcoming mayoral election. Needless to say, both Aspasia and Anargiros, are willing to promise the electoral body the stars and the moon; however, what would happen if the clandestine affair is brought to light? Are both candidates prepared to sacrifice their ambitions for their children's sake?
