Dillon (Peter Capaldi) is the orphaned child of a hippie couple who is raised by his grandmother Edith (Sheila Hancock) in this low-budget comedy. He falls for the saucy Bernadette (Lesley Sharp), while her grandmother's lover Maurice (Percy Herbert) returns after living 40 years in Australia to rekindle his romance with Edith.
