A sharp and smart script by Alan Bennett, who adapted his Tony-winning play, propels this absorbing classroom drama. Set in 1980s England, it's a study of "clever but crass" teen students and a teacher (Richard Griffiths) prepping them for university acceptance at the likes of Oxford and Cambridge. Directed by Nicholas Hytner, who did the honors for the London stage presentation. Stephen Campbell Moore and Frances De La Tour costar as fellow teachers. Samuel Barnett, Dominic Cooper.
